The governor of North Kordofan State, Maulana Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, said during his address to the Khartoum International Fair that the state has a zakra of natural resources and investment elements. He praised the participation of the companies that participated in this symposium in advance to invite them to visit the state and learn about the potential of the state.
The state governor also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the state and Belarus for a number of vital projects between the two sides, praising the strong relations between the Sudan and Belarus. He praised the efforts and participation of the parliamentary body of state deputies in the National Assembly and the Council of States and the Legislative Council.

For his part, Eng. Noor Awad Al-Karim, Commissioner of Investment and Industry in the State, presented the investment opportunities in the Wilayat and reviewed the investment map which according to the state’s clear programs and facilitation procedures for investors through a unified window, pointing to the strategic vision of investment in the state with the aim of increasing production and productivity across sectors of society. In the symposium, they praised the efforts of the state government and its role in the development and realization of sustainable development.
