The State Commission for Investment and Industry was inaugurated based on the North Kordofan State Governor  Decree No. 13 – 2014.

The Commission has its own independent-personality and  logo despite the fact that it’s administratively placed under the State Governor in order  to strengthen its investment role in the state.  The Commission has specialized higher council chaired by the State Governor to setup and approve the general policies and legislations issues besides, its responsibly in the follow-up and monitoring and assessment processes. The commission acts as the coordinating body through availing a One Stop Shop for perusing  all tasks pertinent to the investment process and its technical projects and plans.

The Commission comprises an Investment Services  Administration (ISA) to deal with the investment license, investment facilities  and privileges through controlled electronic system of  the  One Stop Shop.
